Here are the 1997 Aardvark Net Industry Awards as voted by Aardvark's
readers.
Because these awards have been chosen by the people who use the Net, I like to feel that they are an accurate representation of the public's taste and preferences. The "Total Nominations" refers to the total number of sites, products or services nominated for the award.
Congratulations to all the winners and many thanks to all those who took
the time to register their votes. |

NZ NetGuide Magazine I gave NetGuide some flack for the choices made in their own awards but they certainly deserve this win. Out front by a country mile in the biggest landslide of this year's awards, they received 74% of the votes for a very well deserved win. Congratulations! Total nominations in this category 7

Danny De Hek This category produced a large number of nominations - and Danny still won by a fair margin with 20% of the votes! Much as I hate giving him any kind of further publicity, you - the readers are the ones that decide these awards so Danny gets it! Total nominations in this category 24
