Subj: Reality check?

Three short snippets from your article :

"You see, back in May..."
"yesterday I received"
"spam the hell out of them"

So you sent someone an email.  More than a month later you
get a single unsolicited item from them.  You then somehow
associate this with "spam(ing) the hell" out of someone.

Sure, there is such a thing as journalistic license.  But in
this case are you not pushing it just a tad too far?  How
about a little less rhetoric and a little more reality?

Subj: A bit over the top

while I agree with the underlying theme - "spam is bad,
single opt-in is bad, no opt-out is worse" - I have to
agree with Jamie - a firmer grasp of reality would be good
here!  It is your site and your choice of content - and you
do state it was a "rant" but this really does point to a
slow news day!
