Our location and how to find us
We fly from the Tokoroa Airfield at the end of Moffat Road.

The map on this page should give you an idea where that is. Moffat road is just at the point where the 80Km/H zone turns to 100Km/H on State Highway 1 heading south to Taupo. An official aerodrome chart can also be viewed here.
Travel down Moffat Road until you come to a T-junction which is signposted
with a number of club signs. To the left is the Motocycle club and to the
right is the airfield, Street Rodders and Gokart Club's track so turn right.
The road soon makes a 90 degree turn to the left and the sealed road passes through a gate and through a grassy area.
The road then turns right and travels parallel to the airfield. Take the first turn on the left, it goes down to the Car Club clubrooms (a white building with car-port). If we're flying then that gate will likely be unchained and you'll be able to drive in to park on the grass alongside the taxi-way.
Do not drive down beside the main group of hangars -- this area is for full-sized aircraft and their owners only.
Most weekends you'll fly the SWMAC members flying at the spot marked as 'B' on the map but occasionally we'll be seen down at the spot marked 'A'
If you see models flying, you can always climb the fence using one of the turnstiles and come down to say hello.
Please remember that this is a full-sized operation airfield and you must obey CAA rules and regulations when visiting. Leave your pets at home as dogs are forbidden on the airfield.
