ISPANZ Supports Domain Name Status-quo for NZ
Copyright © 1997 to 7am News
ISPANZ, the Internet Service Providers Association of NZ has thrown its weight behind a submission made by WDNZ, the Web Designers of New Zealand regarding the proposal to add new second-level domain names to NZ's DNS structure.

In their submission, ISPANZ point out that the addition of extra second level domain names will further increase the difficulty of explaining the implications and purpose of the various second level names.

They also point out that it may well result in significant added expense to many parties as they attempt to protect their brands and trademarks by registering at all available 2nd levels.
