Alex Chiu's Eternal Life Device
WARNING: this is one of those scumbag sites
that spawns a host of advertising (some porno) windows when you exit. If you
want to visit it, be prepared to start clicking or turn off your javascript
before you click on the link above.
Not looking forward to death -- well Alex Chiu has the answer with his
fantastic immortality rings. A fake? Hell no -- it must be true, he's
got testimonials from dozens of semi-literate users -- and even a David Watt
using an ihug email address here in NZ who says Alex's magnetic devices
"are the best."
The Announcement
I hinted earlier this week that I had an announcement to make that wasn't
Internet related. Well here it is...
As most readers will know, I've been doing some extensive R&D work into
the design and construction of low-cost jet engines. This work has been
partially funded by a technology grant -- from which I've seen no cash
yet, but which certainly will help pay a few bills when it comes.
An early outcome of this R&D work is an engine I call the X-Jet and
which has, in what is still early testing, already exceeded the performance
of any similar previous design by a significant margin.
This new engine design produces 60% more power and has a 50% better fuel-economy
than any traditional non-turbine designs.
Just as importantly, the life of key engine components has been extended by
more than an order of magnitude, significantly increasing its suitability
for use in small recreational aircraft.
Based on the outstanding performance of the latest X-Jet prototype, I am already
receiving a significant number of advance orders and expressions of interest
from companies interested in the prospect of manufacturing these engines overseas
under license.
The anticipated retail price of an X-Jet engine with 100Kg of thrust, more
than enough for a small homebuilt aircraft and the equivalent of almost 200
horsepower at 500 Km/H, is just NZ$1,500 -- a just a fraction the price
of any equivalent piston or jet engine.
The low cost, high reliability and excellent performance of these engines also
makes them well suited to powering remotely-piloted aerial reconnaissance
aircraft and even target drones.
While there is still plenty of testing and development work to be done,
the fact that already, at this early stage, the engine has exceeded the
performance goals set at the start of the project, is extremely rewarding --
as is the level of commercial interest already received (including some
very flattering and encouraging unsolicited praise an from engineers at two
of the world's leading traditional jet engine manufacturers).
With suitable funding, I truly believe this could signal the start of another
local hi-tech industry, employing Kiwis and creating high-tech, high-value
exports. It looks as if the taxpayer is going to get a very healthy return
on the $30K they will have invested in the early development of this idea.
I will be posting pictures, videos and test results to the web next week.
Wanna Buy My Shares In 7am.com?
I currently hold around 30% of the shares in
7am.com -- but I'm looking
to sell them to raise some cash for a new venture.
It's probably very difficult to assign a value to these shares (they're
not listed of course) but I'm realistic and open to offers.
Other 7am.com shareholders will have pre-emptive rights so acceptance of
any offer will be contingent on this.
