Aardvark spills the beans on Tokoroa Airfield

Back in the 20th century, the print and broadcast media held immense power and control.

Because they were the ones who manufactured and delivered the news, commentary and opinion to the masses, they had tremendous power to shape public opinion and to suppress information or news if and when they chose to.

However, now we live in the 21st century and suddenly, every man and his dog has the power to speak out about the things that they feel strongly about. This homoerectus and his canine pal can, without the help of the BBC, CNN, ABC or publisher or broadcaster, reach an audience measured in thousands or even millions -- simply by throwing their thoughts, opinions and information up on the Net.

As a result, many wrongs have been righted, many minorities have finally had their voice heard and we can now all speak with equal volume.

And, probably much to the horror of certain bureaucracies and grumpy old men, I'm going to use the power of the Net to reveal a few truths that they would much rather remain hidden.

As regular readers will know, I've been facing incredible problems in doing something as simple as flying an RC model in the town where I live.

I won't bore everyone one again with the history of the situation -- but I have decided to "spill the beans" on exactly what level of crap I've been putting up with for the past couple of years since this thing blew up.

I've started posting a series of videos to my XJet Youtube channel in which I'm going to be publishing some evidence that will likely create huge levels of anger and distress within the halls of some bureaucracies and other groups.

These groups have, for the past two years alleged that I am too unsafe to fly RC models in Tokoroa (despite my spotless 50 year+ record of safety and my world-renowned status as an "expert" in the field). Well now I'm going to show the world that there are some seriously skewed dual-standards in place within these organisations and that I honestly believe they have been actively discriminating against me for no reason other than to settle political or personal scores.

As you can see in this video, I don't think there is *anything* that I could do which would ever come close to the levels of public endangerment and contempt for the rules/law that have been demonstrated by the CTC flight school when using the Tokoroa Airfield.

Yet -- as I said in the video, the SWDC continue to allow this operator to use their private airfield completely free of charge -- while I am denied that right, even though I pay for it through my lease.

Although I'm sure they will hate the fact that I am posting this (and a lot more to come) *evidence* of their unbalanced approach to preserving safety, there's not a damned thing they can do about it -- thanks to the power of the Net.

I have waited two long years for these parties to come to their senses and simply treat me honestly, fairly and equally to others. They have repeatedly shown that they have no intention or desire to do so -- hence I will now lift the lid on exactly what's going on and show the world that the claims *I* am unsafe are just a joke when you look at the real safety issues at this airfield.

Stay tuned... it's going to get even bumpier!

I'm naming names and presenting irrefutable evidence that people are not doing the jobs for which they're paid or have been elected.

I'm going to show the world that I have been unfairly victimised and discriminated against, in a way that has crippled my ability to earn an honest living.
