It gets worse, honestly

I can not believe I am writing about this subject twice in one week but here goes.

Things have gone from bad to worse in the USA and the reports of unexplained drones seen flying around New Jersey and New York.

To try and explain what's really happening I made a video which has already had over 12,000 views and generated many comments:

Despite the very clear evidence that these sightings are almost entirely down to the presence of commercial manned aircraft and helicopters, US politicians continue to show their stupidity and federal agencies such as the FBI and FAA are claiming not to know what's going on.

Yesterday there was a House Homeland Security hearing in which this utter fiasco was broadcast to a nation that seems to have lost its ability to engage in critical thinking.

If you have a couple of hours to burn, watch that hearing and prepare to be gobsmacked by the ignorance and arrogance on display.

We now have politicians calling for a state of emergency to be imposed in the affected areas.

Another cloth-headed senator has called for "a ban on all drones" until authorities get to the bottom of the matter.

Do these clowns realise just how stupid they're going to look once the obvious truth is revealed?

But wait, there's more!

Senator Tillis has issued a call for these drones to be shot down by the military.

Can you imagine what would happen if an F16 brings down a Boeing 737 that has been misidentified as "a drone"?

The level of hysteria is so bad that now it seems people in authority must be imagining crap that could never have actually happened. An example of this is a statement by New Jersey Congressman Chris Smith who publicly stated

"One of his officers saw 50 drones come out of the ocean... one of their 47 foot life boats was followed by between 12 and 30 of these drones."

I really can't wait for the huge "egg on face" moment that will sweep across the US Congress when the penny drops over there.

It's rather worrying to think that these politicians are in control of the world's largest superpower isn't it and that the finest federal agencies in the land simply don't have a clue what's going on.
